Title I is a federally funded program designed to improve schools. It is part of No Child Left Behind, and offers in-school assistance to students in need of extra support in reading or math. Students are selected and served in small groups. At Reedy Creek, students in kindergarten through fifth grade are served every day for thirty minute sessions. All teachers at Reedy Creek have agreed on common pull-out times so that instruction time both in the classroom and Title I can be maximized.
The official website for No Child Left Behind can be found here. Wikipedia also has a very clear and concise overview, including an analysis of benefits and challenges facing NCLB.
